Deer in the headlights menurut Urban dictionary yaitu situasi mental yang disebabkan oleh kecemasan, ketakutan, terkejut, panik dan/atau kebingungan. gambarannya seperti rusa yang terkena sorot lampu mobil. kaget, panik dan ga bisa bergerak karena terkejut.
